Drewco - Exile (v1)
« on: July 22, 2016, 10:10:54 pm »
New producer looking for any feedback. Working on changing the main saw synths to sound less generic & I know a lot of other things could use work too. Thoughts? Lay em on me.

i like the ambience going on a lot. i'd work on the layering of the main drop synth, it feels a little bit flat with just the modern talking-y thing atm. ik it's public and has been up for a while, but i'd definitely keep playing with this, it has a lot of potential!!

Hmm, it should be working now Peter. Thanks Eidolon, I'll make sure to keep working on my layering. Appreciate the feedback!

decent drum sound.

bass synth(in the drop) has no feeling to it, i suggest you look into how you can make your envelops work for you as well as velocity changes and note length.

it sounds like you've played out that bass line as well.

the middle part is really good.

That bass synth is really the only thing that needs work the most, every thing else seems to be well done.

I don't know if abrasive sounds would work in this particular concept.

critique on consumer speakers.
