VST's similar to these sounds/ artists? (Deep House)
« on: July 13, 2016, 11:54:11 am »
I have been producing for a couple of months now (mainly Deep House). Atm I'm using Sylenth mainly for ambient and pads. These sound good but I would like to go a bit more advanced.

Which VST's (and possible soundbanks) would you guys recommend for these sounds? I am quite impressed by these songs as they are very professional sounding.

Mathew Jonson - Kissing Your Eyes (Tale Of Us Remix) (ambient kicks in at about 1 minute, and progresses 1:30)

Serum for everything is my new rule of thumb.

Although a lot of the sounds in those songs seem sampled...

You might get some mileage out of Omnisphere.

Hey man, thanks for answering. Is Serum really that good :)?
Yeah I'm really impressed by these sounds, it would surprise me if they are just samples.

Will also check out Omnisphere!

Serum is just really open with what you can do with it. It has the most intuitive layout imo of any synth I've used and you can add your own wavetables so its infinitely expandable. Duda is a bad ass with updates too.

Serum is good like they say. I tend to use Spire and Serum lately. Spire has replaced Massive for me.
