so I've been trying to figure out how madeon dj's in ableton for a while now. In particular how he switches tracks and also generally how everything's routed in his als. I've been trying to pull this thing off for quite a long time and after months of hair pulling and clunky unreliable live sets I have almost given up of making a template of my own. Before I completely give up and resort to shifting to traktor I'm really hoping there's still a chance this gets cracked somehow. There's no place online in my knowledge that completely explains this so I was hoping you guys here could help put two and two together here.

He´s just made a bunch of trigger points in the tracks that he plays with the launchpad.  No sorcery.

He also uses borne's MIDI translator pro, and created custom MIDI controls that allow him to fluidly drag and drop tracks into Ableton without much effort.
