Examples of the basses I'm trying to make https://soundcloud.com/terrorhythm/zeke-beats-meltdown-1?in=zekebeats/sets/meltdown-ep 0:52

https://soundcloud.com/alphapup/alix-perez-eprom-chiron-1 0:24

I think its some kind of square wave with lots of sub in these tracks but I'm not quite sure how I go about achieving a similar sound

he actually answered this on reddit a while back, in reference to the bass from his all day remix.

he mentions that he specifically uses an analogue synth, but with some tweaking you can probably emulate that analogue 'grit' too.

the first one sounds like a super distorted saw or triangle idk
but its basically a simple wave with ton of distortion
try also adding some whitenoise but those bass sounds are pretty simple waves with a lot of distortion
