First Track in the Works [DnB]
« on: June 08, 2016, 11:34:51 pm »
Hey guys, this is my first real song I've been able to put together after almost a year of trying. I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

I am considering having the drums come in right as the bass and such come in during the first chorus... any opinions?

It's solid, but something about the melody during the "chorus" is just not grabbing or memorable. It feels like it would make a good downsection instead and something more grabbing as the chorus/dropsection.

Just my opinion!

Besides that the sounds are good and fitting. I would also say the drum section could use some fills/changeups.

Thanks for the reply! I will try and diversify the drums, I was also feeling the same. I do also agree that the melody is a bit meh. The notes move too fast for the violin. Maybe I'll use a different synth for the melody during the second drop.
