It's definitely still in need of some work, but I'm happy with how it's going so far.  Especially looking for feedback on if the second drop bit sounds alright, since I've never done something like that before.

I have nothing to say for the first 40 seconds. I like all of the elements, and they work really well together, and sound very unique. Well done.

When I hit the 0:40 mark, I love your percussion. The bass comes in heavy as well which I like, however I think you have too much reverb on that/the sound is just a bit too wide for my taste. I think some filter work would also do it some justice, particularly a low pass. Love the little synth at 0:43 though, and provides a great touch along with the vocal samples at the beginning of every 4 bars.
One thing I will say, is the kick doesn't come through as much as I'd like to hear. It seems to be conflicting some with the low end, and it's not bringing enough on the high spectrum to let it be heard. I would suggest coupling a high hat on top of your kick in order to let it punch through the mix more than it does.

Your claps are perfect by the way, and I'm usually pretty picky on those. They sound stellar.

Man, I just absolutely love the synth that comes in at 1:17. I love how it comes in on every other beat, it's panned nicely, and is just gorgeous. I do wish however that it came out more in the mix. I think a high pass filter coupled with some more high end EQ work would allow it to cut through a little better.

Wow, the second drop is something I was not expecting! It's executed well though, and sounds quite good. The tempo change was a bit sudden, however the vibe the percussion creates when it comes in is phenomenal. It sounds fantastic, and I really like it. I would even turn up the kick and snare more on the percussion, though I think the hats are just fine where they're sitting.

Absolutely awesome track though man, I loved it!!  :D

Thank you for the in depth feedback!  Much appreciated.

I definitely feel the bass is a little bigger and kinda more..stagnant than it should be.

I was not really aiming for the kick to be a prominent part of the song, but if it's to the point where it's battling with the bass to even be heard, I'll have to do something about that.

I'm looking forward to putting some more time into this thing after I move this weekend. I might reach back out to you to get a second opinion at some point, if thats okay. I liked the stuff on your soundcloud, so hearing feedback from your point of view is valuable

i would definitely turn up your drums and sidechain your track more to the kick (especially in the second drop).
also to introduce the second drop a bit better, try filtering in your drums (HP and LP).

the rest has already been said by SHIKIMO.
good work!

This was an idea I had considered but hadn't actually tried yet.  Definitely going to give it a go.

Seems like the drums need attention over all in this, thanks for the feedback :)

Man, this new edit sounds so solid. The vibe is so crisp and laid back, there's enough variation to keep the energy going, it's a fantastic mix. All of the synths are so refined, and sound really well blending together.

One quick question though, did you change the DnB part up from last time? The percussion seems quite drowned out this time around, and actually gets just a tad muddy for me. It sounds kind of like it's trying to be at the front of the mix, but is filtered enough to have it sit farther back, and has a tad too much reverb on it, lessening the space between percussion hits.

Other than that though man, this is an improvement on what was already a stellar track, it might be ready to be released!! :)
