Bit Fiend - Rock Bottom
« on: May 15, 2016, 07:30:14 am »

This track took forever, but I think it turned out pretty well. I tried this weird thing where I ran the entire mix through an old Fender guitar amp and mixed it back in with the original post mastering phase, which filled in a lot of gaps where I didn't think it sounded full. Thoughts?
Some emo kid couldn't start a band, so he picked up a computer instead. That's going pretty well.

Hey man, awesome track! Really cool idea with the amp as well. I thought the kick sounded a little weak at first but really nice how you build it up until you have that phat bassy drop, good job! Love the name Bit Fiend as well 8)

real cool ideas in here but it lacks energy. Things could definitely be wider. Also work on allocating more headroom to the sub. Felt a bit weak to me. Keep it up!! Solid stuff otherwise
