The concept of blues in EDM is really appealling to me. I'm sure it will come out in the industry at some point. I really like the drop, it is a VERY GOOD IDEA don't change it. I love it.
I have a problem with all of the other sections. At the beginning of the song there seems to be nothing I can grasp on, not a real concept in which you are working on in this track, I feel like every instrument its doing it's own thing and doesn't care what the other ones are doing. In terms of volume, there is nothing that sticks out to my ears that says "Oh, ok. This is what my attention should be focusing on".
On the breakdown after the first drop, you use some orchestration for that section that feels out of context with the song. That part alone might be a good idea, but in the whole picture of the track I don't feel it works that well, and taking in count the title of the thread, I think you are going more for the bluessy side of things. I would take that orchestral part and build a different song out of that.
I think you should focus on what elements you're using on the drop and build the track around that. I'm serious when I say this has a lot of potential.
