So im pretty nooby as you can tell but im really not sure how i screwed this up so bad the lead feels super drowned,
i layered it with like a pluck a super detuned saw and what i realised now is a crap lead and white noise. I eqed all of them to sit ontop of the chords/bass and compressed it only a little and but minimal reverb so im not sure where im going wrong can anyone help please?

Better levels could really help out here. Instead of EQing/compressing, try to get your levels on each track sounding good before you think about EQ/compression. The song you're talking about is "test", right?
