Here are two songs that I released almost two weeks ago. Hope you enjoy it because I think these two are my favorites so far!

For Jastun - Down:

It needs a lot of work. The intro leads could use more "movement": sounds like they're just straight sounds. Their sounds don't change at all, so it just sounds flat. More flat than necessary.
- The snares and claps are too loud.
- The open hat sounds...not so good. It's much too loud, and seems to be affected in some -way...maybe a poor filter or distortion. I'm not sure.
- The arp that enters at 2:35 is repetitive and slightly out of tune. Annoying.
- Is there a melody or hook that holds the song together? It could use one.
- Maybe the snares could use a little reverb.

For Jastun - T.U.N.K.:

This one is a little better. The kick is took clicky, and a little too quiet though.
- Claps are too loud again.
- Again, feels like it's missing a proper main melody.
- The lead that appears at 2:01 sounds out of key, and it's annoying because the rhythm it's given is repetitive and clumsy. And it's too loud. It sticks out.
- The ending could be a little better...as in, more finished. Maybe it could be more melodic. Your melodies are very "vague". They don't create an impression.

So, in summary, you need to work on your mixing, sound design, arrangment, and composition. And if the feedback sounded like a roast, don't worry... I probably need to work on my mixing, sound design, arrangment, and composition, more than you do.

Hey man,

Nice tracks - I'm really into this type of electronic music. Like the housey vibes on Down. T.U.N.K has a different feel but also enjoyable. I have a couple of comments for Down.

The track drops out at 1:43 - I understand this is being used to build tension but I feel you should still keep the bass bouncing quietly in the background, then build back in. The track kinda goes from an upbeat house track to just quiet noise at this point. I love how the synth builds back up but I just feel like this break in the song is a little too much. I also think you could try playing round with some vocal samples or getting a vocalist for that added something!

Loving the artwork by the way ;) made me chuckle!

Check out my profile if you get a moment, any feedback on my new track would be welcomed.

Peaceeeee,
Slunk
