Illenium 'Pluck-ish' Chord Sound?
« on: April 17, 2016, 06:40:55 pm »
Hey guys, I've been struggling to make the sound for a couple of hours now and could really use some help. I think my issue is getting the right wavetable or sample source. Any help would be greatly appreciated! It starts at 0:28 and ends at 0:54.

That's definitely a Sylenth pluck. It's just a saw wave with short decay/release and no sustain. The pluck comes from a mod envelope placed on a lowpass filter, with similar adsr settings to your amp envelope!

I figured it out in Serum from this, thank you guys! I was definitely over-thinking it.
