Where can i take this?
« on: April 12, 2016, 11:11:10 pm »
seeing what you guys think and how i can bring this back full circle, i want to keep the arrangement simple. The end doesn't fit in that well i feel.

Let me know your thoughts.

This is pretty good as is man.

2.23 it needs to end, the stuff that's extra is not needed.

I will also suggest, you literally allow 1 or two bars of silence between transitions of sections.

If you decide to not put more silence, i'd suggest you end it at 2.23 or where that last clap/hi hat hit is.

But if you want to throw in some silence, it should give it the breathing room and allow for more effect tails to resolve. And it'll add another level of dynamics to the track.

But it flows well, just gotta be confident on your ending.

Josh Huval: Honestly, the guys who are making good art are spending their time making it.

Thanks man! Great feedback, and I agree. The last part feels like an appendeix. I think i might do sone more chorus with bigger chords and then close up shop with this track.

I really like this track. :D
I'd say at some point around 1:35, drop the percussion and put in something flowing and melodic.
Maybe piano? I feel like it holds together well, but could use a more defined theme, which you could
implement effectively by adding a non-chopped or bent section. Just to remind listeners what they're
listening to. Otherwise it's fantastic.

Hey New Patrol,

I appreciate the kind words! I like that idea. Going to think about that some when I work on this this weekend.

Thanks,
Alan

Yea like Marrow said, it is pretty good as is.  He has a good point about adding more silence as well.

I enjoyed listening to this one, thanks for creating it  :D

I dont know why, but Im feeling a moombahton off these sounds. I dont know if you like moombahton but I can imagine myself taking it to a moombahton genre. In the beginning it gave me that vibe.
