Madeon Beings Intro sounds
« on: April 06, 2016, 12:51:24 am »
So I was wondering without getting on anyones nerves & I know you have to experiment but I was wondering how to make that intro for Madeon's "Beings" song like the intro that has the piccolo or flute or recorder what ever it is sound going on also how to get a very clean, well rounded crispy guitar bass I've been meddling around with guitar rig from massive but I can't find the sweet spot, I don't want to steal his work or copy & paste it more just to figure out how he created it and build my own version or create something totally different, also it has some filter I think, with a film tape sample on top of the intro chords feel kinda Chinese or japanese feel to it

I'll post the song with link at bottom just incase some people haven't heard it thanks in advance.

The intro with piccolo or something is the first 0:10

Then the guitar light plucky kinda bass starts after the 0:10 mark

The flute is sampled from a melotron, the best you can do to remake is finding a flute sample and just looping that to get the same effect you'd get out of a melotron and filtering that a bit to give it the sound you'd get from a melotron as well.
