Decypher - Future/Trance/Electro
« on: March 31, 2016, 07:58:16 am »
New track I'm working on that will eventually be future/trance with bits of electro.

Enjoy and feedback is appreciated!

Don't critique the master as it's just preliminary. Only did a baseline on most things. Nothing detailed done at all!

It's an ok idea, but i think the repetitive nature kinda is off putting.

It's tough to see where you'll take this just as is. you could of developed an entire song with just those sections you have. all you'd really need is the transitions.

and IMO the transitions are the toughest part of any EDM song.
Josh Huval: Honestly, the guys who are making good art are spending their time making it.

Most transitions are way too the same in every EDM song sadly. I try to stick away from overusing white noise samples and risers.

Also I have made many changes already. Both in melody, rhythm, and fx changing things up here and there. I want the beginning to just be vibey. Repetitive in nature. Calm and familiar. Then bring it into something thats totally new and eye opening in contrast. :) Thank you for the feedback!
