Trying to finish this project up, is the mix too muddy? Also any tips on what I should add?

I'm getting a low crackle, but it might just be my ten dollar jvc earbuds.. Idk can you hear the crackling as well?

It does sound pretty lo-fi. It almost sounds like it could have been done for effect, but not quite.

I think you've overdone the sidechaining, and that snare is missing some top end.

I like the keys or synth or whatever it is that runs through the track (stops at 2:30) though
