KLANG |Eyes Wide Open| Second Attempt! New & Improved
« on: March 17, 2016, 01:41:58 am »

Sometimes we don't get things right the first time. Here is my new and improved version of 'Eyes Wide Open.' I am much happier to share this version with everyone. Enjoy!

Yea, definitely a much more improved version!  good transitional sounds and fx. its arranged pretty nicely and keeps me interested.  great work!  :D

the piano melody could use work to really make it special, but it honestly doesnt have to change because it works, doesnt have to be a complicated melody  ;)

oh yea, and that "howl" sound that you use is hot, but use it much less in order to keep its effective impact on the listener.  it sounded over used.

keep up the great work  8)

You could maybe go a little heavier on your bass in the drop sections though, maybe add a low-mid layer like a filtered reese or something.  It sounds like it could use something to fill the gap between your saws and your sub maybe.

Hey man i just listened to this again after you replied to my track, I dont think its that it needs more low-end, i think your pluck lead is just too loud, making the low end be perceived as too low.  When the drop first comes in it sounds very warm and full, but when the lead comes in halfway it seems a bit loud( or at least hte first note, the first 2 or 3 notes are loud and rest are more tame) and takes away from the low end.  Just a thought. :)
