the buildup sounds like a typical guitar tapping riff, would be sweet if you layered it with a guitar possibly. Also the drop doesn't really hit hard after the build and that growl is much wider and louder than the main bass. Try making the main bass wider and turn it up a tad and that should help them mesh together a bit nicer

Thanks for the advice man! I totally agree on the guitar layering idea, any VSTs you would recommend for that guitar sound?
