phatscout - Warpspeed [Future/Dubstep/I dunno]
« on: March 04, 2016, 04:07:01 am »

I've been working on this one for a while and I'm finally ready to say it's done (to be honest, it's less because I feel I've done "all that I can" and more "I couldn't figure out how to get the mix to sound better so screw it here it is")

What do y'all think?

Love it, real good song, cool melody as the bass comes back in, and neat little vocal chops. :) Wondering if possibly you'd like to donate the song to a compilation I'm doing, collaborating with a bunch of artists on TheProducer'sForum! You still own the song and all that jazz, all I want to do is pack it together with a bunch of other artist's songs and release a free download album of their music, so we can help each other get new listeners and fans. dm or email if you're interested at all in helping! :)

Hey! Great track, nice mixing and cool composition. I think the various textures you introduce throughout the song fit very smoothly in the arrangement and the melody is fresh and prevents the music from becoming boring. One thing I would consider changing is the snare buildup into the first breakdown, maybe by adding another roll underneath but at a faster speed (Possibly in triplets) lowered and filtered a little to draw out more intensity. I feel like there is enough room in the track to just add a little extra (Like drums or maybe just a few more melodic layers) in some parts as well
