So Madeon recently tweeted this:

"I have literally over a hundred demo i'm genuinely excited about and I still feel like I haven't started."

Whaaaaaatttt? OK. Wait and isn't the guy currently on tour or something? He just continues to put everyone to shame. There are people just starting out out there and they make a few songs and already they're talking about releasing albums/EPs? Pssshhhhhh...come on. Madeon, who has made 1000s of unreleased tracks, released a whole album and made hundreds of individual tracks/remixes is saying that he has over a hundred new tracks now and he feels like it's only the beginning? Scary, just scary. And yet, so inspiring. Thanks Madeon. I saw that you're a member here so if you're reading this, THANK YOU.

I second this. This guy is totally insane. ...in a good way though.

I mean the guy is ON TOUR, he has been for months now. And he's pumping out tracks as if it was easy as breathing. My schedule does got busy but definitely not as busy as his and yet I make excuses sometimes that I "don't have the time to make tracks". Terrible.

Not really surprising considering the fact he locks himself in his studio for 24 hours and comes out with a bunch of songs.

I wonder if he uses the Pomodoro Technique during those 24-hour sessions!?   :D 8)

Well, then you probably don't know Savant  :D he releases around 3 albums per year with songs of various genres ranging from country to moombahton.. check out http://origin.vinter.us/ , this is one of the most creative and inspiring projects modern producer/dj can do. He is the real hero

Nah man, he only does that once a year, based on this interview: http://www.digitalspy.com/music/interviews/a626863/madeon-interview-i-dont-see-myself-as-a-dj-i-never-really-was/

I have heard of Savant, but I don't know his music at all.

Google that guy man :) he claims he made over 10 000 songs during his life :) I'm not sure about that number, but still probably the most in EDM :)

Quality over quantity. All of his shit sounds the same. It's easy to make a bunch of tracks when you follow a formula. The dedication is admirable but I'm not impressed from an artistic, creative standpoint.

I agree that obsessing about the number of unreleased tracks is sort of pointless; after all, there is a reason he's never released them. It's still a feat, but the released tracks are what matter.

But dude, you must be joking. There's no way you can listen through Adventure and claim that everything sounds the same. Madeon is one of the most versatile EDM songwriters I have encountered.

Savant definitely works fast. I enjoy listening to Madeon more though. The adventure album revolved around more of a songwriting perspective rather than producer chops which is something that worked out really well for him.

Definitely puts me to shame. Makes me wish I had started producing at a younger age. I can only imagine the amount of effort he must have put into honing his craft having all that free time as a teenager not going to school. (I can't remember what age he dropped out.) Not to mention the serious balls and faith in himself he had to have had in order to do that in the first place.

"Madeon - making other producers jealous since 2010" :D He really is like this little EDM Mozart. I'm always amazed by those live perfomances he does. I tried to figure out how he's setting up his Ableton sets and failed miserably. :D He has several ways of playing out that he seamlesly switches between during those sets. When he goes to that "sample trigger" mode, he remembers the whole layout and palys it like a f***ing piano. All kudos to that guy. Big repsect.
