Symmetry (first legit track)
« on: March 02, 2016, 02:37:17 pm »
This was one of the first legitimate songs I've made & I've had mixed feelings about it, I've been finished with it for about a little over a year & while I look back on it, the production isn't all that great & stuff, but I figured I would post it around & try to get some kind of reaction from it. I think over the course of that year, my production has gotten somewhat better & I've been working on some new stuff & I'm very excited to share them with you guys soon!

(p.s. it says "buy" but u dont actually have to buy it, it's just a link to my bandcamp where it can be downloaded for free if anyone's interested in doing that.)

really cool stuff! I would say the mixing is a bit mucky, but I think you have already realized that. Sounds like maybe your limiter is working too hard causing some clipping to happen with so many overlapping frequencies. It is a bit harsh in the high end.

Really cool musical ideas. Good use of differing sounds. Definitely like the use of ambient sounds in the breakdown. Keep it up!
