this is literally the last thing i imagined someone would remix lol

the production is really good :) i don't listen to this style much, but from a technical standpoint, it holds up really well. I'm not listening on monitors, so i don't have a great reference, but from where I'm at, the mix sounds pretty clean!

props to have the guts to remix a Beatles track too, most people would never touch their work.
let's be friends and drink apple cider

lol def a gamble remixing beatles. but i think you did a decent job!

the only thing is that comparing it to today's trap/mashup genre, it sounds like there could be a bit more hi end. like if you were to play it in the middle of a skrillex set it may not punch as much as the songs it's in between. that's my 2cents tho. awesome job!

Thank you for this. I should've compared it to some remix/mashup type songs to see how it fits in. I used 'Moonlight' by Varien & SirensCeol as a reference track, but didn't want it as loud because it lost all of the punch. I should revisit the mastering cuz I did a shitty 5 minute job on it anyways. I had a flight to catch on Thursday avenue and I was just like, fuck it, it's done haha.

I'm a huge fan of The Beatles, listened to them my entire life, and I honestly came into this expecting absolute shit, cause you know, The Beatles were always one of those artists that it was literally taboo to remix. You did an amazing job, it sounds perfect and actually compliments their vocals well. I can definitely guarantee this is extremely technically sound and well composed. I don't think it's my cup of tea purely cause of my brain's stipulation and respect towards the original, but you did a goddamn amazing job. Can't reiterate that enough.

Haha thanks, and I get it. You can't make a Beatles song any better...they're already at that level. Still love the original more than this, cause it captures the meaning better. I can't listen to it again for like 5 months because I'm a little sick of it right now from who knows how many hours of mixing lol.

Dammit, actually....that sucks.  :-\
