Hello all!
I'm looking to buy two identical computer monitors to be used as a dual screen setup for producing with my Macbook Pro retina. I don't know what kind to buy. I'm looking to spend <$500. Anyone have any recommendations? I want to make sure the resolution is the same as on my laptop screen, and size I'm looking at 21.5-24" screens.

you can check out the videos on future music magazine, a lot of the producers use two monitors
check out deadmau5's studio, etc
with equipment, go with your gut and go for the stuff you want, dont go too cheap cause you'll end up short in the end

Thanks for the reply!
However, I'm looking for specific brands and models of computer monitors that will work well with the Macbook Pro retina.

Villms, I have a macbook pro as well. I use a secondary monitor (one main monitor + my laptop screen). It's a cheapie (ViewSonic) I got off of Craigslist. It doesn't need to be a specific brand. Just look at the connections it has (VGA/HDMI/etc.). You'll likely need a dvi to ___ converter depending on what your specs of your comp are).
