OK, first take a deep breath. Now, what do you mean dropbox doesn't even work? How big files are we talking about?

they should have a p2p system where you just drop the file.

another thing you can do is look into a compression program. Winrar is a program i use when i need to compress large files into a more workable data size.

Compress the actual folder like i said with winrar or winzip or any other similar compression programs....

there's no way to get around rendering it, unless you want to give the guy all MP3...

Have you tried just sending samples with the corresponding midi, that would significantly cut the size of the project.

If you're using the desktop app for Dropbox you need to be patient. It will take a while to upload those stems. I don't see how it wouldn't work though, I use it all the time.

If you haven't already, try splice. It literally syncs to your computer so that when I save a project I'm working on, it uploads it to Splice Studio and the person I'm collabing with can get the stems directly from there since the project is synced to the web. It makes more sense when you do it yourself, but me and a friend have been working on a track this last week over splice and it works perfectly.
