Rise/fade
« on: February 18, 2016, 03:37:49 pm »
What is the name of the part of a song where one uses a rise (/fade) effect in between the different "parts" of the song to build up and sometimes also "release" tension to make the song more dynamic? You know, when one can use white noise, a snare build, two crashes where one of them is reversed and those kind of things? I would like to know some advanced techniques, because I'm still a basic bitch. There are some artists who i think are extremely good at this, like Arty, Mat Zo, Deadmau5 and Savant. Please let me know if anyone has any information and knowledge about this, or where i might find it, video lessons and such would also be great! Thanks guys <3

I have some examples of what I'm thinking of and what I would like to learn
