The vibe is nice. I would make that ticking percussion thing a bit less prominent in the buildup/outro, if not in the main bit of the tune too. Maybe lowpass it or make more use of filtering, like you have in the breakdown.


I like that kick pattern, but it would also be nice to have more of some big ol' warm bassline going on in there. Don't get me wrong though, this is a pretty sweet track.

I wouldn't feel obliged to use the percussion thing if you don't think it fits what you want to do with the tune. Especially if you're remixing something that has a really recognisable element like a vocal
