Cheap analog gear thread!

Any discussion of analog gear (synths, effects, guitar pedals, things like that) can be posted here
I have a Korg Monotron Delay ($50 usd) and a Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator Rythm ($60 usd) and I absolutely love them.

I just got the roland boutique ju-06 and it is so awesome.  Can't wait to get home and have a proper setup with it so I can be Martin Doherty

It's not super cheap, but i'd recommend the Arturia Microbrute (around £220 or so). I bought it recently and instantly understood why some people can't shut up about the "analog sound." ;D

Feature-wise I have to admit it's fairly basic; it's monophonic and you can't detune oscillators. Also I would have loved for it to be battery powered so I can just take it anywhere :D But for simple bass sounds particularly, and bright saws/squares, it sounds amazing :)

My Gf gave me one for Christmas its super dope. If it took batteries that would be everything to me. I love sequencer and the overall sound. Just not a huge fan of the Envelope.

The Korg Volca Keys/Bass has to be the best buy to me for cheap gear thats super dope and fun.
They're like the perfect tools for learning hands on sound design and you can take them anywhere!

Recently picked up a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and I'm thrilled!  Has being giving me recordings that sound pretty good.

Parroting this, but with the Volca Beats - If you want that sort of raw 808-y sound and enjoy tweaking knobs, it's a great pickup.

Here to drop some knowledge on the most rad/cheap keyboard in the world:

Meet the Hin-Hon Ek-001, although she goes by many names, and can be found in a few different housing forms...
She's a (2 note) polyphonic squarewave analog synthesizer. Her clock is a simple resistor, easily hacked, and when you turn the clock down, the organ tone turns into the deepest, droning cold dark flat lush goodness omg.

If you have never explored the *Tablehooters* website, looking this board up is a good place to start.

I can't find the one I bent recently, pic is a broken one given up on, so no extra knobs sprouting out.

Happy hunting in the thrift stores dudes.

Meet the Hin-Hon Ek-001...

I'm sure you've seen THIS already but holy shit. I've just moved countries so I'm still waiting on my gear to get me but once it does I think I'll be doing this to mine.

That is one comprehensive Hin-Hon. Hadn't seen it, thanx. Related: this particular pictured example was modified by a dude named Toast. It has a RCA video in, and a RCA video out. Brutal. Just dug it out.

I got an FMR Audio RNC for £100. Very very transparent compressor, nice character on it if you start to crank the input.
