Mixing/ mastering checklist

Here's a mixing/mastering checklist I use that's helpful and helps me get to a final result hope you guys find it useful

Do the levels create balance and convey the right importance of the song elements?
 Nailed it!

Is the mix stereo? Are elements positioned left, center, and right in a way that creates balance?

Have effects and edits been used to create a sense of excitement?

Have I listened to the track in multiple speakers/environments and at different levels?
 Yes
 No
Has compression been used in a way that enhances the track/helps balance the levels?

Does the track match the reference(s) in level and tone?

Is the rhythm on point? Are vocals and live performances time aligned?

Are individual eq's used to fit sounds together tonally? Do the elements have their own place in the frequency spectrum?

Really good idea, this one. Helps to get you into the habit of meticulously checking tracks before declaring them 'done'.
I've lost count of how many uploads I've heard from producers who really could have taken 10 minutes to check some of these steps
Build it, and they will come.

Really good checklist! just taking a couple of minutes to check this can really make or break a track
