Arranging Buses
« on: February 06, 2016, 06:38:53 pm »
Can someone please explain to me how to arrange things in busses for logic pro x? New to production and I'm struggling to find a good youtube tutorial.

I get how to arrange layers to route to different buses in groups to add EQ and FX to the kick, the melody, percussion, chords etc but then what? Do I route them somewhere else? Do they automatically route themselves to stereo out?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

By default any new bus track in Logic gets routed to the main stereo out, so that's where they'll be routed if you haven't changed it yourself. You can re-route them in the mixer if you want, same as any other channel, by clicking and holding where it says 'St Out' on the channel strip.

Or is that not what you meant..
