Hey guys! First post in here. I've uploaded a new song I'm finishing up and am preparing to be sung with vocals! However there are concerns with the "typical" vibe that is coming along with the breakdown and drop. Any ideas for how I can make it more creative and fresh?

Keep in mind, the mix has NOT been started yet so I understand there are some fundamental flaws going on there. Please point out what you hear though so I can adjust these things as I go along!

Excited to hear your thoughts on the song as a whole and how I can make it more unique!

Hey I like this, but the whole overall sound of it kind of sounds muffled imo. Idk if you've messed with volumes and stuff but it sounds really muffled. And the drop can be louder and try adding some more fills in during the drop.

Thanks Peterynsie! I noticed I WAY overused filtering. I will definitely revisit this and add some fresher sounds to make me want to not filter them! Also, what did you mean by more fills? Drum fills? Or full on breaks of the melody line?
