Ambient sound of Sunny Lax
« on: February 04, 2016, 08:20:27 pm »

While working on a track last night I recorded a melody through my little ms20 mini.  Later on in the arrangement I reversed its audio clip and put it through a delay. The sound of the delay gave me nostalgic tingles reminding of an old Anjuna tune. Just now recalled the song!

The sound that I was thinking of last night comes in at 1:28. Adds a really nice ambience to the breakdown.

The patch i recorded the korg on was just a triangle wave, Hp filtered, with slow vibrato. The reversed effect / delay is what made me recall the sound from Misgrey. I think the sound he is using is a sine or triangle with some attack and pitch modulation. If anybody has any thoughts to what's happening in that sound I'd be greatly interested. Cheers!
