Thoughts on the mix

This was pretty great! I'm certainly no pro when it comes to mixdowns, but I couldn't really hear anything glaringly bad about the mix. Comparing it to a couple of (mastered) tracks I like that are similar to it, I'd say that the kick might need a bit more bass to bring it out some more. All the elements came through clean and clear and nothing sounded "muddy" or anything to me  :)

The structure of the track is really solid. The instruments sound raw... like they're too simple for the song. If you can invest in some higher fidelity instruments, I think it'll take it to the next level.

i feel like the kick could be a little bit louder relative to the bass. Its there for sure, but lacks that punch you get from a kick.

the chorus around 2:20 isn't terrible, but none of the synths are really pronounced at all. It just sounds rather confusing so to speak. You really gotta learn to balance your sounds so that they all have their place in the mix.
If you have too many 'in your face' sounds playing at the same time then it just gets squashed together and doesn't sound good.

remember less is more. good luck!
