Blue II Synthesiser

Has anyone used the Rob Papen BlueII vst? I watched the demo and the capabilities look endless but I was wondering if I could get a more specific recommendation.

I've owned it since the original Blue was released and it's one of my favorite synths of all time, hardware or software. It's a deep hybrid synth with incredible range.

I love it too. It's cool when you get bored of traditional FM8/Sytrus FM. It has interesting waveshapers for OSC waveforms, version II plays back some factory multi-samples and over all the whole take on FM is a bit different in there. Also the sound is different. I wouldn't recommend it for sub basses too much, but it's nicely creamy for anything else.

It will need a bit of getting used to if you want to use it for "from init" sound design. You need to route the path to and out of filters etc...

...but don't overdo it, because that's called being a d***k.

I have it and like it -- haven't reached for it lately, but I should again. It's very good for basses and definitely has its own sound.

i have no idea how to actually use the synth but its one of my favorite synths for presets. Extremely unique sounds.
