Imagine This
« on: January 27, 2016, 06:02:37 am »
I donno why this works for me, I think I have struggled with caring what people think of me in the past.. But i like to tell my self that the majority of people on this earth will not give a single care about me or my music. Even if millions of people follow my sound, it's still a meager fraction of people on this Earth. When I tell myself this, it completely puts my mind at ease, I don't give any thought to anything accept why I want to make music in the first place. It helps me not give a fuck about what people think essentially. Pure creative freedom. It helps you get into the mindset, that I think is essential, that you can't please everyone.

I try not to care too much for people who only want to put me down or don't like my music.  I can't expect myself to be just as good as the producers that everyone is used to hearing.  What motivates me is that hopefully someone out there will really enjoy my music and will get something out of it and maybe make someone's day a little better.  Even if it's just one person.

My reason to start making music (almost 12 years ago) was because of interest in music and I wanted learn about it. Just for fun. Never thought about being famous.

I enjoy the personal growth in music creation. I deleted all songs I made in the first five years; out of shame. And if I listen now to the growth I made in let's say 3 or 4 years, that gives me satisfaction.

Make music for yourself, enjoy it with friends of possible but don't expect to be liked for your music. You will probably only be disappointed.

I think kinda the opposite way. Only a tiny proportion of the world could make something similar to me and even then nobody is likely to make something the exact some, motivates me to start trying fresh ideas ad to stay unique.
