Recommendations for plugins similar to Ableton's Saturator
« on: January 26, 2016, 01:01:44 am »
Can anyone recommend any plugins similar to Ableton's Saturator? I'm an FL Studio user, but that saturator plugin is fuckin wonderful! The thing I really like about it is that you can choose what frequency you want to saturate, so if anyone knows any plugins that allow for something similar, please let me know.

Maximus has band splitting and saturation on each band, it comes with producer edition starting with FL12.

Try clipping.

For real. The Digital Clip setting in Saturator is just that.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll definitely look into FabFilter Saturn, a lot of people have suggested that one. Maximus might be useful also
