How can I recreate this perc

Does anyone know which sample pack this perc is from, or even better - how can I recreate it? It appears at 0:01, 0:03, 0:05 etc. Sort of an echoey tom with a low cut.

Sounds like a low rimshot or clap with the highs shaved off and a high pass around 500ish hz. It has fundamental tone around 1 khz. Shouldn't be too tough! Try it out in your DAW and throw a spectrum on it to analyze.

To me it sounds like two wooden blocks hitting eachother, would play with pitch and cutoff then add a room reverb. that's the first thing i'd try anyway
