Funky house song i've made. I want to follow it up with a breakdown sort of thing but nothing too drastic, but I don't know where to take it from here at all haha. Any suggestions would be gladly taken.

Also there are a lot of pauses and stuff, especially in the drop. Ignore those that will be fixed later, I just can't seem to think of where to go musically from here.

UPDATE: So I made some changes, added a bit of length to the first breakdown, and added some more samples to the drop and other parts that I think makes it sound even better. Also distorted the intro quite a bit more. Tell me what you think guys!

Sounds good :D If was you, I would keep the vocal playing with the bass slowly fading away.. Just like you have at the ending of your song, but I would put the vocal on top of it. I hope this makes sense for you..

I would definetely finish, sounds really fresh ;)

@guppi, what do you mean vocal chops are spliced nicely haha. What vocal chops? The ones at the beginning? Either way thank you very much for the compliments.

@JayDBe, Yeah I was thinking something along that line. I definitely want the song to continue for a bit longer, at least one or two more drops after the part I'm at now. Getting there is the hard part haha. Thank you for commenting!

Needs some more layers, especially with the bass. Now with your bass, it seems like it's really simple, not a lot going on with it, the problem is that french house/nu disco has a lot of "slide" in it, or purposefully offbeat notes, I would try to do something along those lines, because the bass is "too simple". Put in more FX to fill up the atmosphere of the track. The filtering (not the phasing) of the loop takes too much out of the spectrum. In the outro it sounds like there is two kicks and they're off one another by a substantial number of miliseconds

I really, really like this, especially the way the bass comes in around 0:55. I actually really like how it's kinda simple too, not too much to distraction. This would sound really good with some more vocals too.
