Nitro fun - Fade away remix WIP / Rameses B - we love remix WIP

Basically been working on these two remixes for the past week or two and need some feedback :)

 Rameses B - We love remix that i started last week. i'd say it's ~85% complete just want some general feedback on it. Fairly certain that the bass and drums are too loud but any feedback will help

 Nitro fun - fade away remix that i also started last week or so. I'm stuck on where to go with it, i want to make it longer but i also like how it ends off in it's current state.

Really enjoying the Rameses B remix, though I agree with you that the drums are a bit too loud. The kick seems fine, but all the other drum elements are a bit harsh. Could just be a mixing issue but I'm not knowledgeable enough to give proper advice on that.

The Nitro Fun remix is reeeaaally nice, I think that if you're looking to keep the same vibe going throughout the track, a nice, slow piano progression thing like you have in the intro would be cool for a bridge, along with some ambient noise, then drop back into a variation on what you have. If you're looking to switch it up to be more energetic for a sort of second drop, you could build it up into a supersaw-heavy, Porter-esque 4x4 thing, or even go into some DnB.

These are both great for where they are though, keep it up!

i think i'll keep the nitro fun remix going in the same vibe, really enjoyed producing the chill drop so i think i'll keep i that way :)

Dude holy shit you're 16?

You have some dope skills. I wish I was at this level, and I'm in my twenties haha!
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I think both pieces are working on to be great.

The Rameses B track needs a bit more mixing on the drums. Also you need to vary your hats a bit if youre gonna go the DNB route. Work on the shuffle and groove as well. They have a tendencies to lock up atm (add layers and and make edits to your percussion).

Everything else sounds solid.

Ahaha, yeah i'm 16 :')

Currently the drums are a loop so i can't really change the groove too much, i guess i could try chop it up a bit though. Thanks for the feedback :)

I found the "lead chord synth" slightly too sidechained, made it sound kind of wobbly. Other than that it sounds solid man, the 2.20 part could be done better, feels kind of out of place.

Thanks man, i'll try fix up 2:20 maybe might add in a different Amen break, not sure though

ooooh such cool stuff maaaan!!!

it might just be soundcloud compression, but you may want to revisit the highs on the we love remix, they sound a tiny bit muddled to my ear. Both tracks are really really great regardless though.

also I love your choices on your art, super pretty and clean looking <3

Nah man it's not soundcloud compression it's just i haven't really done too much on cleaning up the mix, i'm fairly certain that the drums are causing the highs to sound really harsh. Also thanks for the art compliments, i'm pretty happy with what my art :)
