Emotions

I very much support expression too.
Expression.

Any Art should be an expression of oneself. It is the process of creating something unique and putting it out there in the world to be loved or hated. There are fake artists but true art is always an expression of yourself to the world.

Boundless
"Immature poets imitate; mature poets steal."
-Picasso

"The reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind-the-scenes with everyone else’s highlight reel."

Sometimes you have to work through disinclination and wait for inspiration to come

2. Please elaborate on why you chose that word.

Could we get more of this? Something like "boundless" doesn't really explain anything.

Determination.

You have to want it more than anything, and enjoy doing it more than anything else.

I love how the majority of these words can be used on things greater than just music. With any journey that you choose to take- passion, determination, patience, endurance, and all the rest are great details that will bring success and happiness in life.

Keep them coming! I hope to make a list of all the words so we have a sense of what is important in music and the journey of success.

Fun.

While producing is what most people hope to eventually turn into a full-fledged career, it's so so so important to remember that the reason that we make music (or really any art for that matter) is because we enjoy it! On top of that, typically your results will be much more rewarding if you are making your art in a way that pleases you. Find a way to make production fun, and you'll find that you will be much more inclined to keep pushing through the rough patches :)

Exploration

There's no output without input. You can work all you want but if you're not actively searching for as much external stimuli as possible, your musical range will be limited. This stimuli can be in the form of other music, or even completely unrelated things like going into nature, reading a book, or watching movies. Anything can contribute to your musicality, and enriching your life will tend to enrich your music.

Great word choice! Exploration births creativity, inspiration, and motivation to succeed and I think it's important to find the balance between experience and the analyzation of your surroundings. That said, how do you draw the line from what is authentic creativity versus mimicry? I think many producers, including myself, second guess our creativity because we are so inspired by our surroundings that we lose the sense of "self" in our creation. If our surroundings greatly influence our creation, at what point is it okay to say, "Yes, that's my work of art"?
