Calvin Harris ft John Newman- Blame (Shokstix Remix)

Hey guys
This is our remix of Calvin Harris and John Newmans track blame. We decided to flip it into a chilled progressive tune. It will be released in the near future but we wanted to let you guys be the first listeners. What do you think? :)

I'd personally put another synth layer to the drop to kind of stand out., but that's just my opinion. :)

I hear ya on that, this was the only way to ensure you can still hear the subtle shaker percs and vocals clearly. thank you for the feedback! :)

Daaamn I'm downloading this, I love it, maybe the mastering isn't perfect but I love the idea, the groove, the feeling.

it's a cool song dude! one thing that really bothers me tho is that the vocal seems super out of place at the beginning to me.

When that bass came in (0:30) , i really enjoyed it :) , the pluck with appears in 0:46 in my opinion does not fit into this track (but it's just an opinion , some people might find it awesome , for me it just doesn't fit). The rest of the track is pretty cool.

Ps. this pluck fit's better later in the track when more elements appears , but earlier when there are no leads this pluck just doesn't fit
