Melodyne Studio vs. Editor
« on: January 14, 2016, 05:02:12 am »
So Celemony just released Melodyne 4 just as I was about to purchase the old version. Does anyone who has it know what the difference is between the "studio" and "editor" versions? One is way more expensive and I'm wondering if it's necessary for basic vocal edits  :)

If you're not doing multi-track editing, then Studio is probably overkill and Editor should be sufficient. There's a feature comparison table on this page:

Sonar Platinum | Pro Tools 11 | Bitwig Studio | Logic Pro X
Access Virus TI2 | Kurzweil PC3X | Nord Lead 4 | NI Maschine 2
