Metallic Lead Sound Like In "U Got 2"

Hello all!

I was wondering how could I get a metallic lead sound like on this track:


Starts after 1:18.

Ableton has a metallic you could just layer but it doesn't sound crispy and bright like AC Slater's.

Any suggestions appreciated!

That sounds like someone recorded hitting a frying pan. Check out some "metallic hit" samples around the net (there are a bunch of free sites with stuff like that)

99% Sure its just a pan sample. Check out Freesound.org and look up Metal hits, Pan hits, Impacts. Stuff like that and throw them into a Sampler

And don't forget to fall in love with the best ones on their own merits even though they don't sound exactly like the one A C Slater used.
