I missed the remix contest because I couldn't come up with an idea for the remix... then I made this:

What do you think?

Hey man, nice remix. Great job!
First off i think the intro synths could use a bit more sidechain.
I also think your synths in the later parts of the break and get a little cloudy. Same goes for the drop. That bass is a little to wide and overpowering. Just some mixing issues tho, nothing that cant be fixed.
Nice job man!
Cheers.

Thanks for your feedback! I guess I'll have to calm down with the bass haha

Pretty solid arrangement and mixing. I would probably echo the previous comments on getting the bass a little tighter especially on the drops. And the lead on the drops could use some little variations like some stuttering and maybe even some ducking when the kick hits. Good work!

You definitely have a solid track thus far! A few suggestions I have would be maybe dial back that lead a little bit. It is kind of overpowering. Right around 1:19 when that melody becomes the focus, it seems to be causing clipping? It also sounds like you may want to consider bringing the notes you have for the bass there up an octave. Kind of grindy without much low frequency.

I would honestly recommend bussing all of the elements and turning them down by 3dB or so to give yourself some more headroom to work with. The main thing I really noticed was that things sound a bit too compressed during the louder parts. The breaks sounded clean.

Keep it up!

To answer some questions: The lead is sidechained and it is saturated, that's why it sounds like it's clipping. Btw thanks to y'all for your feedback!
