Piano House!

Tried focusing on a couple areas that I'm not super skilled at yet in terms of arrangement and sound design.

All thoughts are welcome!

Classy~ gotta say i wouldn't mind relaxing on the sidelines of a casino to this beat. It's a bit simple in terms of composition and it does tend to be a bit repetitive. One thing i can imagine would give this track a lively vibe is some kind of background noise like water or a city crowd to really give that sense of immersion in the track itself. Don't really got much else to say, nice work on it

I get the repetitive line sometimes from other others so I have to ask if you make house music or not because everytime its someone from a genre that has a lot more rapid changes (usually dubstep) so i'm trying to take that advice constructively.

I would suggest some reverse reverb transitions in some places because it would really help your transitions.

This was good.  Needs some work with the mix tho´.  The hi-hats are to prominent and the kick sidechaining is too short or too open.  The kick is indistinguishable until the piano disappears.  Hope this helps. Good luck with it!

Careful with some of the high hats, they can get a bit loud. Overall it sounds awesome! It has a very "rich" feeling to it. I feel like i should be partying with the 1 percent when i hear this haha. This would be super interesting with vocals on it. Good Luck in finishing it!

pretty nice progression--not sure about that third chord tho (the leading chord that just hits once). I know what youre going for but it sounds off. Also some of the notes in the "sax" are dissonant to the progression and the timbre of the instrument is just a little harsh. I would experiment with something more synthetic and electronic rather than going for this quasi-violin/sax hybrid. drums are good, def got a good groove going. You could also potentially work with a better piano synth/sample..its a little muted (once again I know what youre going for--kinda like Shadow Child's Piano Weapon, but I think it could be improved still). Also not sure how much I like the build, the way you choose to loop it kinda decreases the tension in my opinon.

its definitely a great start though, it has the potential to be a solid loungey piano track

I would mess with that reverb on the piano a bit, perhaps EQ it a bit, it seems a little bit muddy or dark, the reverb seems to cut out some clarity and brightness that could really make the track move some more.  Also the kick is quite soft which is okay but I feel like it could come out more to move the tune and get some more groove.  Nice work so far, big fan of this style and you seem to be off on the right foot, that's for sure.

love this! mix needs work but you can sort that out after.

You need a nice sax playing sustained notes with lots of reverb. I hope you finish this track!!!

Thank you for all of that! its kind of funny because that "sax" is just a square wave with eq and delay. but i get what you're saying. I'll keep working on this!
