CHALLENGE #1

Next challenge is here -> http://bit.ly/1REs6hl
I decided I want to challenge the people of this forum! It's just a playful challenge to push producers (THAT'S YOU GUYS) to learn or be inspired by the sounds. So what I'm going to do for this is make a sound, and y'all need to try and recreate it. I want to start with something awfully simple. First one is I created a lead inspired by a lot of soloist keyboards I've heard in the past and more recently Haywyre. hell, definitely be cool if I learned new ways of doing something from all of you!  https://clyp.it/4tnsyfu3

(If this is successful, I'll do more intricate ones! Also, doesn't have to be exactly the same, just close.)

Honestly Mussar, I'd consider that good enough to count as a win. lol I personally just took saw wave, did an extremely small detune, put a formant filter on it and automated how much of the filter was used using my pitch wheel.

I figured the filter was manually automated but I got kinda lazy haha. I was using Serum so I over embellished a bit; took a supersaw with super low detune value, stacked it w/ a clean one, ran it through a formant filter (with just some slight modulation on the shape), slapped an LFO in envelope mode with a quick slope up but a long duration and slammed it into some tube distortion to give it back some edge (and them a small low pass to remove some of the new extra harsh high end).

So the person who gets this first wins? It's not really a challenge for other people if you give the answer right after the first one made it :/

Good point, I didn't think about that, I'll have to wait longer next time. Thanks for the input! :)
