Dark experimental techno

Been working on this for a while, i haven't usually done techno but now i wanted to try all sorts of weird synths and stuff.

I especially want to know what you think of the freq shift @ 1:45 and the distorted drums in the end.

Please leave feedback! :)

The stereo effects were incredible. I was listening on my laptop speakers, but it sounded like the echo on some of the sounds was coming from way out to the right of me.

At 1:13 I thought it was going to get bigger than it did. The slight tempo shift (?) with the triplets over top was sorta interesting but too subtle a change to do the trick.

In general I think it could use more rhythmic variety. Don't just repeat 8th and quarter notes, ya know?

I didn't notice anything at 1:45 or about the drums at the end.

Endings are probably the hardest thing to do right in music. Either you have to "ease on down" or "take off". But you shouldn't just "peter out" which is what this song did.

I think you have some really cool sounds going, and a lot of good stuff to build on. Add a melody. Add some rhythmic variety. Work on the ending.

Yo,

That main riff sound seems to have too much low end and not enough high end too.

The transition to those distorted drums is a bit sudden, and overall the track feels a bit disjointed and sparse. If the changes were more gradual this might have a nice proggy feel to it, maybe more modulation would help with that.
