Honestly, it was kinda hard to make it through that one. But there's something strangely compelling about it. Like a bad smell that you can't help but breathe in deeper. Some of the sounds literally got me right in the gut. Like how an upset and churning digestive system sounds and feels.

"Food Poisoning" would be a title that would fit that track. : )

Really like the overall atmosphere, and the transition at 1:17 is great. I also really like the melodic idea and its development. However, the second melody starting at 2:53 sounds a bit too "drunken" for my taste, some notes lag too much behind because of the glissando.

The only other thing that struck my ear as "off" on the first listen was the kick/knock percussion in the intro. The two hits in fast succession sounded a bit sloppy to me, maybe because of the machine-gun effect. I would maybe try lowpassing the first hit of each of those or just tuning down the volume, but that's just a random idea. Maybe it's good as it is.

Really like the mixdown on this... really clean. This track almost reminds me of a fresher version of Get Low. This may be personal preference but on the second drop maybe have the subkick come in a beat earlier.. all up to you on that. I really liked the feel of the track. Keep it going.

hahah love the honesty, im using "food poisoning" for my next working title.

@Arktopolis Yeah I tried to keep it unquantized but I guess after listening to it a gajillion times I didn't realize how sloppy my playing was haha. Also agreed on the tom hits in the beginning, changed that up a bit more

@Will thanks! I took your feedback for the second drop and changed up the bass line and I'm digging it a lot more now!

Here's the updated version with all the changes. still iffy on the buildup, I'm thinking of maybe adding a riser or something in the background but ill sit on it for a bit more. All the feedback is appreciated

Dude...your sounds got me like  :o At the first drop i feel like you could use a vocal sample or just a little more filler between where the build up ends and when the bass actually hits, think that would make it flow a little better. Sub bass could probably come up a little bit. But i honestly really dig this track and can't wait to hear more from you! Got you with that follow back!

Dude this is awesome! The first drop needs more Impact in my opinions, also the melody in the second drop... My ears dont like it... I think its just the jumping, also are you sure all the notes are in key? It just sounds abit strange and unpleasant as opposed to the rest of the track.

Overall Great job tho!

Great details, fills. The lead is sometimes a little bit wonky, but the arrangement is very nice, you know how to build tension!!!

Sounds got me like DAM! This is a dope produccy, very clean mix and cool concept. I still think you need to work on that initial drop though, thats what lets it down I reckon.

Someone mentioned a vocal sample before the drop...? I think thats a cool idea tbh, you could go the obvious route and sample a Lil John "OK!" or do something less bait lol. I'll leave that with you.

Overall sounding dope bro. Look forward to hearing more.

Peace
