Inspired by Mr carmack - Hit that.

I want to know if you guys think this bangs. Does it get you pumped? Adrenaline rush? Boring? Let me know.

dude damn, sick drum works. But there is that weirdly wide vibrato sound. I find it a tad annoying because its so so wide. The snare is also really loud. However this is definitely inspired by carmack. Nice stuff.

So weird. yeah the panning of the sample is disorienting. also might be that my ears are tired but the keys around:45 seem either out of key or out of place. very different stuff. keep it up!

mix is clean as fuck, I think the panning works fine.I would make that final grunt a little louder right before the drop as a final warning for "this is the drop"

Maybe try switching out that sample of the horns that are throughout the song for something else, but thats just an opinion thing honestly.

Also im curious how you made that dillon francis sounding synth on the second drop almost sounds like a pitch down version of the lead in this song.

Sound and mix is fantastic. I think even the  industrial and edgy sounds work.

Didn't really get me moving. I just listened to it, and there's nothing memorable about it.

Trying to recall it now in my mind, I just hear some pots and pans banging, and a guy saying, "oh."

Thanks man! This one is probably going to be scrapped, but I enjoyed making it and it was a good exercise. I appreciate the feedback!

The lead is (from memory) a Serum patch (pretty basic, a saw wave or something), pitched around a bunch with envelopes/automation, with distortion and (a small size room setting, very wet) reverb, then sidechained. Possibly a multi-band compressor at the end. What gives it its unique character is the odd pitch automation, and how much reverb I used. From what I can hear, Dillion uses a TON of creative reverb, and loves to sidechain the crap out of his leads. I would start there.

dang dude! this is bumpin! great sample choice as well. the panning is a very risky choice because I would love to play this at a show but if the speakers are far apart then one side of the crowd wouldnt hear the other side of the track
