Im having an extremely tough time making the break of this track work. I was wondering if anyone could help me with ideas on how to make both breaks fit better or how to design/arrange it differently. Im also down for ideas to completely redo the break. Any general feedback is welcome, would love to hear some peoples opinions on what works and what doesnt. I didnt do a final mix/master yet either. Also if anyone wants to maybe send me a message I would be down to work on a break together with someone

Also how do you embed private tracks?

Thanks !

cool intro, but I think you should introduce the bass after like the first 16 bars or so. before that just have the drums going. cool break - really enjoying the piano and the stuff around it. great job. smooth transitions. awesome drop, the brass is cool. i think you could try layering your chords with a piano to give it more click. sweet job man.

Recomend layering the intro bass saw thingy for it to sound way heavier | add some toms on the intro also.  ;)

i think everything sounds wonderful, your breakdown immediately after the first drop, theres that little dropdown in silence, i think that should be another chord or the topline synth low-passing back down into your break section. The break with the bassline and everything sounds really great but, i think to make it stand out even more and give it a bit of life, you should use some more natural claps on the two's and fours and maybe even some stomps/thud kicks before you go back into the big break and buildup into the second drop.

Great, catchy track! I think that the track progresses way too fast in the whole 1st minute, at least.  Also you could bring the main lead in at a later point in time to increase the impact of it, and use pieces of the melody early on to tease them, not even necessarily using the same sound either. Good job again!

Really good stuff man. I think the only thing I'd change (or try out) is put some crazy reverb on the main lead and have it sidechained to itself so it sounds bigger. That or maybe it needs a few more synth layers under it. Good stuff though. good stuff.

Very cool stuff. I'd suggest you try this for the break that starts at 1:15. You seem to have everything running through an envelope that's pumping, and a lot of it is very cool. Try not pumping the bass and the lead pitch-bend sound. You'll still get the pumping effect, but some stable ear candy to contrast the pumping.

Dig the track. Keep polishing. Cheers...

Add a bit of filtered white noise to your bass and distort the whole thing, should make it sound a lot bigger and more enhanced-y

love the ideas mate, personally I think the bass needs another layer to make it stand out a bit more. I see what sound you are going for, but it just needs another layer to brighten it up. With that layer maybe add a reverb with predelay or sidechain the reverb to the bass. feel free to PM me if you need further details :)

as for the break(s) fitting, i think it does. as suggested above try layering the chords with a piano, and bring the sustained lead in later. On the 2nd drop maybe try to get another layer going with that sustained lead to add variation to the 2nd drop.

You mentioned the mix is not priority at the moment so I wont comment on that now. Best of luck buddy, hope to hear the finished version!
