To start I want to say that I used 3 layers of the same supersaw and panning for larger image stereo. First take a sample of the supersaw and shipping to a channel of the mixer all left and then another sent exclusively to the right and leave the principal in the Center already with this is this expanding more spectrum estreo, only is playing with frequencies in the EQ so that it is as you want it to sound the supersaw.

Also usually use tools like which brings the fl studio both the stereo shaper and the fruity stereo enhancer or the famous stereo image S1 waves plugins is very good to extend the area stereo otherwise serious export in wav every sound in this case supersaw and pass them through the imaging tool stereo iZotope ozone 5 6 or 7  8) 8)

If you use 3 layers of the SAME supersaw, and pan one hard left, other hard right and leave one centered you are not getting a wider sound at all. All you do is make them louder.

This.
One trick which helps very well in getting a wide sound is panning one layer left and one layer right. If you give one of these a pre-delay of 8 ms and give the other layer a post-delay of 8 ms it will sound waaaaay wider.

...and then you play the track in mono and get ugly phasing. I'd try to detune them diffrently. :)

...but don't overdo it, because that's called being a d***k.

How do you control the gap?

no, panning doesn't mean more stereo. especially if it's the same sound

If you use 3 layers of the SAME supersaw, and pan one hard left, other hard right and leave one centered you are not getting a wider sound at all. All you do is make them louder.

i don't have ability nor luxury to perceive stereo, but after reading some, i understood that short delay and stereo imagers are wonderful for these cases

"There are many ways to achieve a wider sounding mix. One of our favourite ways of getting a sound to fill out a wider portion of the stereo field is by using a stereo delay (not a good idea on the mix bus but it works well on individual sounds).
To do this, pick a stereo delay that lets you control the delay times of both the left and right channels individually. The idea is to set the delay time between the two channels at very small intervals, typically we will go with something like 5ms on the left channel and 8ms on the right. The effect works really great on backing vocals and guitars." - Televisor

4. “You can use Ozone’s stereo imaging and take frequencies above seven thousand [7 kHz], or even a little bit lower, and you can widen everything up there, so that the mix starts to sound a lot wider.” – Skrillex

Don't use stereo imagers, waste of time. You will mess up your mix balance and mono compatibility.
To create a nicely controlled wide stereo super saw you will need to create your own saw layers from a scratch.

Try to create a layer of a supersaw in the centre and a piano. Then create a completely stereo saw in massive and mix it in to taste. This way you can control the weight in the mono field while mixing in enough stereo to create the effect of wide saws.

Haas effect(Stereo delay) is only useful on small non base elements in your mix. This is because of the fact they will completely collapse most of the time in mono. At least try to use a prime number on your stereo delay for the best effects.(So don't use 10 ms but use 11 instead.)

Excellent comments regarding the topic forum someone teammates can explain how to open image stereo track without affecting the mono field? Once hear talk to Orjan Nilsen in the regard and said that it was best to mix in mono and then do the conversion to stereo that she is your opinion in this respect????  :D
