Albums/Eps

Hey,

I think uploading a single track to soundcloud, and releasing a full project like an EP/album/mixtape are two very different things. What do you guys think about a feedback section purely for posting full releases?

Along those same lines, an EP/album discussion forum could be cool. When I made my recent EP, I spent a lot of time on track selection, album artwork, setting up a bandcamp, and just generally thinking about what I wanted to express with this release. It was a whole new process for me, but a fun one.

The current board works, sure. But if someone produces a 10 track album, a full creative project, thats wildly different from a single track someone just exported.

Doesn't mean you can't post it there...
I think creating a section solely for albums is a bit too much because most people are creating individual songs, and people who are creating giant albums that contain a fluid story, probably aren't here to begin with.

you can post EPs/albums in "finished tracks"! just because it's labeled as "tracks" doesn't mean you can only post singles there :)
